KY-60 Bucket Washer is a compact washing unit designed to wash and classify sand and fine aggregate fractions with high efficiency and to remove unwanted fine particles. Working with a water consumption of 50-90 m³ per hour, the bucket washer fully meets the clean sand needs of especially low and medium-sized crushing-screening facilities with its hourly production capacity of 40-60 tons. By effectively separating the clay, silt and organic substances in the material with the dissolving force of water, it ensures that high quality final products are obtained at the required standards for concrete plants and asphalt plants.
The system works with a bucket wheel mechanism that rotates at a slow speed in a large washing tub. The washed sand that settles on the bottom of the boat is carried upwards by specially designed wear-resistant buckets on the wheel. During this upward transport movement, excess water in the material is filtered and a natural dewatering process occurs. The drive group, consisting of a high-torque motor, gearbox and belt-pulley mechanism, ensures that the system provides service without hesitation, reliably and with low operating costs, even under heavy load.
- Fine Aggregate and Sand Washing: It cleans clay, silt, organic matter and foreign particles in sand and fine aggregates of 0-5 mm fraction with high efficiency.
- Bucket Wheel Technology: It removes the clean sand accumulated in the washing trough from the bottom through specially angled, wear-resistant buckets and discharges it continuously and homogeneously.
- Integrated Dewatering: Thanks to the rotation direction and upward transport movement of the buckets, excess water in the sand is filtered, resulting in a final product with a much lower moisture content.
- High Efficiency Classification: By optimizing the sedimentation and transport principles, it ensures that the targeted micron-sized materials are kept in the system and waste particles are discharged through overflow weirs.
- Powerful Drive Infrastructure: The power group, consisting of a high-torque engine, heavy-duty gearbox and belt-pulley transmission mechanism, works stably even under the most intense mud and sand load.
- Maximum Wear Resistance: The buckets and the impeller body, which are constantly exposed to water and abrasive sand contact, are manufactured from special steel sheets with high wear resistance, thus extending their service life.
